The Liberia Annual Diaspora Conference is an official gathering initiated by the Liberian government, bringing together Liberians living abroad (the Diaspora) and stakeholders in Liberia. The goal is to create a sustainable channel where the insights, skills, resources, and global networks of Diaspora Liberians can be effectively leveraged to support national growth. In September, 2025, the conference was held in Washington, DC where I was hired to be on the media team as an event photographer. I was tasked to capture the engagement and activity throughout the event especially the panel discussion between the Chairman of the National Investment Commission of Liberia and the Council member of Prince George’s County, Maryland.
